Beginnings…

I’ve been thinking of doing a blog for some while now.  To blog things about life. Things I learn. Things I like.  Things I do.  While sitting here pinning on Pinterest, I finally decided to just go for it.  It doesn’t matter if people read it, I just thought it would be healthy to write down things that go on in my life. Sort of an outlet, if you will.  So I will write down things that make my life rich and full so I never forget that in the midst of craziness, there is a life of a princess.  I totally know that last part was cheezy.  But hey. I am cheezy! And I like it!

On to the real first post!

Seth is over for the weekend. (He’s my little brother, and he’s 16 years old!)  I love that he’s a role model kid.  I think of other 16 year olds who would never want to hang out with their crotchety older sister for a whole weekend!  (Okay, I’m not crotchety, but I am old! Lol!)  When I was 16, I was always over at Kiirsi’s house on the weekends watching horrible old Brad Pitt movies while chowing on Stuffed Crust Pizza that her Mom forked over the money for.  And it was awesome.  It didn’t take much to please us in the 90’s!  It’s funny to think that kids these days don’t even know what the Dewey Decimal system is!  When I asked Seth if he knew, he looked at me like I had lobsters crawling out of my ears! I wish we had Google back in the day! I might have actually  passed Algebra with the magic of Google hanging around.  Yep. I flunked Algebra TWICE!!  Maybe they shouldn’t have placed me both times in the same class as Marco Scotella.  All we did was talk in the back of class and plan marching band shows.  Big mistake. Huge.

Jeremy the ordinary Prince is still looking for work.  It’s been almost a year since he’s been out of work.  Thank God for unemployment, or else we’d be out on the streets.  We’re really praying for a good job so I’m able to stay home and raise some kids and not have to work to pay for child care.  Lord….we trust you will provide.

I get Monday off of work! Woohoo!  I love a 3 day weekend!

Hmmm. Well I think for my first blog, that I am done. I’ll plan a little better about what to write next time so it’s not all over the place with randomness.

Cheers!

Lisa
